Very impressed with this golf ball I usually play bridgestone BXS and my buddy plays ProV1 and we both felt this ball plays just as good as both name brand balls. Didn't lose any distance and I believe they spin more on wedge shots. Good feel around the greens and on putts. I highly recommend giving this ball a try.
34 with One
So I played 36 holes over the last two weeks, with one ball! Well, almost. I hit my approach to my 35th hole into the pond in front of the green! All with the same OnCore Elixir!
And I must say, the durability of this ball is amazing. I play to a 12 index, so a lot of my strikes aren’t perfect, if you know what I mean. I’m sure I would have tossed any other ball into my practice bag.
Anyway that was my trial 3 ball pack. I’m going to order a couple of dozen more because I’m sold.
Got my free sleeve of the Elexir ball. Have compared against Calloway TP5 and Titelist Tour Soft. My putting and short game, inside 150 yds, saw very little difference, but my hybrids and driver were noticeably better. Clearly saw lower spin on drives and 5 to 10 yes longer. Very happy.
I just tried the ELIXR golf ball and I loved the results. The distance from the tee was better and around the green was great. If I could fine the deal that I got on my first purchase a few other guys would purchase for the first time.
Growing on Me
Got 35 holes plus a swing out of the first Elixr out of the sleeve and it showed no sign of wear. Bright yellow/green color was very easy to see even in rough that was becoming littered with fall leaves. Did notice a great deal of distance loss playing the ball at 60 degrees as opposed to 71. More loss than I would have expected from a pro line ball. Will continue trying these out. Two rounds only beginning to tell the story.
